I just love how the people in the snaps are so friendly. You'd never come across someone that friendly on the Gold Coast (I know I've said this before, but it constantly amazes me). |

Thanks ML .... we cancelled the Gold Coast | Brisbane trip and rebooked it to Christchurch and Wellington - all paid for and issued so we will definitely see you. I am very excited to see CHC for the first time and WLG should be interesting (we were last there 2 years ago). Can we meet up on the Saturday ?Quote:

![]() [16 JANUARY 2010] - 25°C SATURDAY, 12:00 Partly Cloudy AUCKLAND[CITY+PROJECT] DEVELOPER PLANS [26 STOREY TOWER] FOR OPEN AIR CARPARK ![]() An Auckland property developer has applied to build a 26-level, $200 million office tower in Auckland's CBD. Developer Tim Edney has applied to the Auckland City Council for resource consent to build the 35,305sq m, environmentally friendly building on the block between Customs St East, Gore St, Gore St Lane and Fort St. Expecting to start work soon, Mr Edney said the tower had been designed to be tall and thin as to not block the view from other skyscrapers in the area. The building would feature double-glazing, sun-control screening, mid-building and roof-level gardens, solar panels, water recycling and rainwater collection systems and bicycle parks. Have a gr8 weekend ![]() Thanks Have a great weekend mate ![]() Quote:
Yeah as stated the sun is very bright here and burns the skin right off of ya. I thought that the African sun was harsh, no way, it doesn't even come close. Sunny's (only called so in this part of the world) are handed out free to young children so you can say that it is part of the culture. As for the pink lady, she is very eccentric and I love people like that. I tried to get her from the front but missed - now that was something to behold ![]() Thanks for the comment and have a fab weekend Quote:
that is very kind of you You too have a gr8 weekend and be naughty, I am heading to the pool, once again it is f**king HOT !
