Auckland looks very interesting. Is this city really so clean or only on this photos because I didn't see any graffiti or rubbish.

It is very clean compared to most cities BUT we also have people that don't care where they leave their litter and Greater Auckland does have a problem with taggers - as most cities do ... one thing that I can say about the Auckland City Council is that they act when there is a complaint regarding vandalism, litter and graffiti - i.e. they are very pro-active (thankfully).

Auckland is NOT immune to social ills and we have our fair share of social "deviants" also known as riff-raff

Would you consider Auckland paradise? Is it worth moving half way around the world for, given its isloated position?? Whats the quality of life like?

How great is it really, is it similar in urban feel to sydney?

It is Paradise for me and it was worth the move halfway across the globe BUT nobody can define paradise for you as an individual - you would have to come and see for yourself ... everybody's opinions and needs differ.

New Zealand and Auckland's quality of life is one of the best in the World - NZ ranks 4th and Auckland ranks 5th. Polls are polls but as I have stated before - this is my Paradise and I can see why people refer to NZ as GODZONE.

I have never been to Sydney and therefore I can't help you - sorry (something to remember is that Sydney's population is almost 4 times that of Auckland). There might be some similarities because I have often heard people say that Auckland is a smaller version of Sydney. I hope that I have been able to help

There is unfortunately no subway in the city except for a partial underground railway line that feeds into an underground train station (located in downtown Auckland) called Britomart (below is a pic of the train station) - however - plans have been lodged for a city loop, which will be a subway but it will only serve the inner city. It is a start I suppose
