X-Seed 4000 Tokyo!!!

well i'm all in favour for huge tall skyscrapers. but when i was reading about the X-Seed 4000 in Tokyo i did kinda think that it was a bit of a silly idea! yeah i liked it but would it actualy be possible to build, live in or be safe???

The X-Seed 4000, which would be 4,000 (800 stories) meters high (13,123.2 feet), would in fact be taller than Mt. Fuji, which is merely 3776 meters high (12,388 ft).

your seriously being too optimistic. I strongly doubt that this project will be buitl anyway, Tokyo has not run out of room to build up yet.

It's nothing more than a vision. It'll never happen but it is quite interesting to look at.

The good part is that it would save space for nature if people lived more vertical. So if we are to protect the planets wildlife and nature in general, we will have to concentrate the human settlements areawise.

This used to pop-up quite often. Everyone here gave up on it a while ago. Tokyo (or somewhere else in Nippon) will eventually build extreme structures but probably not in our lifetime.

doesn't such a building require a large area to be built on in the first place (by what I've heard there is almost no space in Tokyo)? and how much concrete and iron and everything else should be used to construct such a mamouth building?

Thus, it would be built on an artificial island in the center of the bay.
But yes, it will never be built. Japan's population is now declining, unlike when that vision was presented.

This will not be built in our lifetime. Looks like something out of the game SimCity 3000 when you can build those artificial ecosystems that house 50,000 people.
