Wow, I thought that was photoshopped for a split second. Weird sight with all those trucks.

Great, though. I'm excited to see this really getting underway!

Concrete= Progress

This is outstanding! In Chicago, construction starts fast. Even if it is just a test caisson. At the rate this is going, FT is going to have competition a lot sooner than it expected. Great!

Here are pictures of the parking structure ( I really wish I had a better scanner):

If you'd really like results, your best bet is to practice proper spelling and grammar. Nothing commands respect like a grasp of the language.

I don't think anyone is hiding anything . . . but the basement is planned to be mostly a parking garage! Not exactly "exciting" to see plans for.

I don't see the need to post such a thing anyways. We're highrise lovers here, not basement lovers.

Usually, if you post a question and don't get an answer, it means "no." So there's no need to do as you tend to do and ask the same question over and over. I think this is the third time you've asked.

Does anyone think we could get this topic sticky'd, now that it is officially under construction and that it is to be the tallest building in the English-speaking world, not to mention tallest in the US?

I'm not going to sticky this one because then I'd have to sticky the tallest in Europe and South America, too.

Agreed. I don't think pinning this topic would be a good idea. The topic stays on the first page as it is so I don't see what the big deal is.

It is stuck in the Chicago sub-forum. And this will always be near the first page. Before you know it the foundation will be done and I have a feeling it will go up fast.

This tower is huge and the design is terrific.
Nice to see they're making progress.

I agree. This building looks like an over sized lollipop or... a certain female pleasure device...

Okaaaaay....

Shuuuuuuuure. Now you've ruined the beauty of this building for me.
Actually, no matter what people say, I will maintain the position that this skyscraper is one of the most attractive and futuristic designs ever!
And to mikering, yeah, probably Russia Tower.
