a year from now? I'm guessing it will be above ground by then, and once it gets above ground it can really go up fast.

Nothing excites me more than to think about this tower finally taking shape, and I've just got to ask...how much information has been released about the actual construction of the building? How deep will the foundations go? Will the Spire be built with reinforced concrete or as a steel structure? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Edit. Scratch that. The above design is an older one. You can see the difference between the current and old:

New on left, old on right.

It's not 5 sides. And the glass is not gold. It will be "clear" is what someone from SSP was told.

What buildings there won't be built? Pretty sure they all are or will be. If anything it's missing a lot of buildings that are U/C.

The rendering might (?) show some buildings that won't be built, but it does not show the vertical expansion of Blue Cross. It appears that derricks are currently being erected on the roof in preparation for starting structural steel work.

Then why does the OFFICIAL website still show the 5 sided base renders?

dwalden:
Can you post the 5 "sided" pic or a link to it? I thought it had 7.
