Whats that kinda building with hole in it, in the middle of Aqua and CS?
Is it already built or still U/C?

That’s Arcqietectonica a LSE tower (prop) 921'/76. No matter how good the renders are, I’ve yet to see a Chicago Future Skyline render that has every U/C and Prop building in it. Someone take on this project and mock up a 2016 version!

But this is a good one.

I believe that was just throwing around some ideas, but as said before, someone sent an e-mail that was responded to be saying that there were 7 sides and that the glass was clear.

Spire twists into existence

By Blair Kamin

Tribune architecture critic

August 17, 2007

As the designer of the bird-like addition to the Milwaukee Art Museum and scores of other striking structures worldwide, Santiago Calatrava personifies the phenomenon of the celebrity architect, or "starchitect."...

Did you detect a bit of pessimism in Kamin's report of the Spire. "He closes by this thing is moving ahead so far"

I found this on page 47, (luckily only a short search)

It might answer your question.

I can't believe that this is happening so soon. It almost seemed like a pipedream until a couple of months ago, but look at them there on site. Fantastic. Its a bit of a strange location next to the motorway, but I guess get yourself an apartment 10 storeys up or higher, and its all good!

Excellent project, I like the desing of this tower it looks amazing. But to be honest I have my doubts of this tower will be a reality, now I see that this tower is dream that is becoming true to Chicago.
