TRANSLATION:
they must build the equivalent of a bathtub on this site like the plot on the WTC site in new york, otherwise the walls are going to cave in under construction (maybe due to water like the infinity tower)! are there any materials they can use to prevent this from happening?

well provided they shore up the hole to the underground levels in much the same way they did for the waterview tower in chicago there is absolutely no risk to the site. materials are perfectly available and im sure will be brought in when needed.

There really not messing about with this. Lots of progress has happened since I last looked.
I've just realised how small the buildings footprint will be. It'll look so much more sleek though. I can't wait for this thing to start rising.

I count 7 the claim is 8 on the blueprints. Way below the water line BTW. I love the fact that foors 10-37 are deemed low rise and mid low rise is from 40-71 floors. Then you get to mid high rise and then high rise and then...

Wow, so that means that the cassion caps are going to be, (if the parking levels are at 8' although i'm betting on 10') between 56' and 70'+ below grade, that's a deep hole, but understandable for a structure of this magnitude.!!

So we're looking at a cylindrical concrete core, with a structural steel surround, or a concrete encased steel surround?

That is a good point.

If one loves playing around with blueprints than enjoy.

I know this has been mentioned before but look at the amenities available to the owners of this one.

We have

Switchboard, Postal, storage for 400 bicycles, trash compactors, dog washing rooms, private car washing bays [trust me it will not be self-serve], stretch limo parking, chaffers and valets working space, and other goodies in general. Check out the hi res link. Cool stuff.

Thanks bnk, for the info, however i think the orientation of the blue print is north to the left, the perimeter of the excavation looks to be a slurry wall, at least 6' thick, and almost impossible to install under LSD, plus note the chillers and pumps are located to the south, (discharge/intake piping) and nearest source of water, the Chicago river.

...is there any rendering with all these works done?!?
