they are more then halfway done with the caissons..(just a guess but I think im close). now they appear to be securing the slurry wall.

once caissons are done, they will begin to dig.

caissons have been being drilled for a few months now.

Frame for coffer dam, 80' sheet piling will be driven in for this. The "marshmellows" were used for the part which hit the old rail tunnel below, the sheet pilings won't go through the concrete walls so the drill was used.

Sheet piling pounder ?

Slurry wall trench - full of slurry.

Can anyone explain, how they will build this building?

First they gonna drill those caissons and then?
Do they concrete a plate and dig out everything below and start building the Spire simultaneously?

When is it approximately done (the caisson drilling)?

yes, they will dig down 7 stories I think and lay the concrete base. this will be followed by the construction of the parking garage, then the sucker will peak above ground.....

So they won't make a concrete plate on ground floor and dig the stuff out BELOW the plate to have the advantage, that the tower can start rising pretty soon while they still dig out the parking garage,

but they will dig out everything, like FT in NY?!?

Frame and 80' sheet piles

Real old Rebar - There are 6 or more piles of old concrete at various places, floors, fondations, an old post hole.

Some of these look like they came off of the old rebar.

The caissons will be there "forever" - they are what the building sits on, the foundation.
