Got it. Thanks.

I've read some questions about the core size versus the total size. I hope this will help to answer it:

This is going to be one insanely thin building. Not sure about the millions of dollars to live there - they would have to pay me to live in something that fragile.
Am wondering how it can subscribe to all the safety standards with such a small footprint.
Anyone have this building in 3ds / max format?

Thanks for the answer!

Then they're already building the ramps to have them open well in time before the tower is finished. And that's only logical with such high profile tower, get everything ready when the people move into it, they don't want to spend there first week on a building site.

The ramps are to/from lower LSD - Wacker, trucks can, and do, use the lower levels.

No you aren't. I love this building but.. wow what a terrible way to cap it off. Hopefully they'll change it to something better looking.

This building deserves a better crown indeed, but even if they didn't change the design,I doubt anyone will see it from ground level.

Question for the Chicago natives: how often would winter weather interrupt outdoor construction of this type? Will it be a major factor affecting construction over the next few months?

We are used to it. A bit of snow doesn't really stop anything.

If I'm not mistaken isn't there going to be a mass damper installed at the top of the chicago Spire... perhaps thats why the top looks so dull because it's a mass damper? Then again it's a render and not the real thing so we'll just have to wait and see the finished product.
