You guys are making wild guesses. In the mean time, the developer has explicitly stated that all residences will have a direct elevator run from the ground to the residence. So there is no question here.

Yeah, the bottom floor will have excess, the top pent house could be multiple levels, but only the bottom one needs to be connected to the elevator.

But then you would have all the elevator lifting equipment right next to where your living (is it loud?)

I definetly have to agree with Dudly. For me it has a desing that does not seem so stunning, but not bad at all, i know it will fit perfectly in the skyline of thhis city, despite in the render it doesn't seem too much. But its height is amazing.

Snow in Chicago? We all know it never snows in Chicago, it never floods there so it can't snow either! Any snow that lands in Chicago just blows off!

I really WANT to like this building.....

is the exterior all glass? will it be shiny and sleek or concrete??

some of the renderings make it look a bit too fat for my taste.... I hope it ends up being really slender....

ooops! looked at first page of this thread..... exterior of glass and steel.... thank god!! this would be awful in blah concrete.....

maybe the twisting effect will make it appear more slender than in reality?? maybe???

^ What are you talking about? How much more slender can it be than this?

It's a building, not a TV mast.

I notice many of the renderings give the Spire a bluish tint. It's a bit misleading. The renders on the website give a more realistic view.
