Maybe, but not for a long time, the FT foundation is nearing completion, while the CS foundation is just beginning. The FT will be rising above street level very soon, like in the next couple months.

will they eventually have to dig around the circle 7 floors aswell, or will the basements just be in the circle?

yes, they'll dig arround the core also. a few pages before you can see a render where you can see that

Riverwall - "sleeper" to tie wall to, the old piles are within the new garage space. The concrete is RC on top of long steel piles.

It will wind up looking like this, a solid, watertight, wall, built 70' into the ground.

Nice. I can see this will be the biggest thread on SSC and that record will be achieved before this thing gets one inch above the sidewalk. I like to see this when it is completed because the renderings make it look cheap. I love the height though.
