"Miami of Canada" is a reference to Chicago from a recent episode of The Simpsons in case anyone doesn't get the joke.

Escalade, Camry, whatya nutz? This tower resembles nothing made in either Japan or America. If I HAD to compare it to a car it would definitely be Italian and more than likely Ferrari.

Yeah I know personal taste right? Who calls this tower a Camry? More important, why is the Escalade mentioned [one of the ugliest things on the road]? I'd usually ask what tower you think is the coolest, but after reading that mess, I don't wanna know.

Hey Cheeps,

I knew you were joking. No hard feelings.

I didn't know however about the Simpsons episode.

In the words of the great philosopher Rodney King...."Can't we all just get along."

BTW I don't know if they would be working on this building in this temperature when it is up to 2000 ft. Those guys will feeze big time.

In all seriousness, I'm not overly excited about this building when it is only just a hole in the ground. It needs to get up 800 to 1000 ft before it shows some excitement. When it begins the assault on the John H and friends then I will look with some interest. Beating Marina City is nothing to care for.

Wow fast progress. Great to see this one going so fast. Thanks for the pics HarryC, although you may want to change the date of the pics since we are in January not December anymore.

thanx HarryC once again for your awesome updates I am wondering if you are a professional photographer or is it just a hobby for you to take the shots of the building sites around downtown Chicago?
