the Burj Dubai will be the tallest free standing thing in the world, no the Chicago Spire, that is why this thread isn't stickied

But, the Chicago Spire thread has 1,023,159 views (and this is only a big hole for now) and Burj Dubai has "only" 827,690 views!

Anyway, those two threads are by far the most populars: Thanks to Harry at Chicago and to Imre at Dubai.

the BD thread is just new thats why it has 827,690 views. The thread before that is more than a million views.

That is the more permanent screen, seeing the mess from the drilling of the secant wall I suspect that they waited with the pretty white screen until most of the drilling was done.

From July ame stuff in DuSable park ( the staging area, east of LSD ).

Oups! I forgot SHANGHAI World Financial Center and NEW YORK Freedom Tower with 948,159 and 752,419 views respectively.

I've seen some high view counts but I think this is the first thread ever to go over 1,000,000 views.

The old Burj Dubai thread was well over 1,000,000 views, and the current one has accumulated over 800,000 since only October. This Chicago Spire thread has been around since last January.
