omg... that video is stunning. That's the best evidence I've ever seen of just how amazing this tower will be.

Yeah, if they run out of room they'll have to take a slice out of the side of the building to make sure it fits into the site. That'll fix it.

All sarcasm aside, yes the site appears to be small, not sure what gives that impression but most of us have thought at one time or another that the site looked very small for such a big building.

The building will fill the lot E-W and will be as wide as the Sears Tower.

Well, my shit-box of a Compaq has failed me once again (getting my baseball bat ready to smash this thing into bits...)

I can't seem to access this video. Is it supposed to take forever to download or something?

Does anybody know of another way to access that video?

They don't use the park at the other side of the LSD as part of the construction site for nothing. And if they wouldn't have used that, it would still have more space then for example the site of the Waterview Tower.

^ I'm actually beginning to think that the link they provided simply doesn't work any more. When I click it, a small window appears which is blank, and nothing whatsoever happens (no downloading activity, nothing).

Beautiful video - much more interesting than the bit currently up on the Spire's website. I'm glad that the dove didn't fly into the windowpane LOL. Some interesting details here on the lobby - especially the rate of ceiling undulation (the ceiling will undulate, for those new to the thread). Also, the infacing surfaces of the external support columns appear to be faced in the same wood used in the lobby.

^ Yup, and it appears that it simply doesn't work. The butt-faced ghetto-transplant neanderthals who, in the upper west side's Circuit City installed software into my Compaq before I purchased it in July 2006, installed a lot of shitty software on my computer.

Compaq is shit. Circuit City is shit. I'll never buy a Compaq and I'll never buy anything from a Circuit City in New York again..

At the risk of starting a riot...

Join the masses and get a Mac. I made the switch a few months ago and now DREAD when I have to load up Windows to use Revit or Vray. You won't be disappointed TUP, and the prices are very competitive.

Hey UP, before you go to the dark side and buy a Mac, try downloading Safari or another browser. It wouldn't work for me on Internet Explorer, but it worked on Safari. You might try Mozilla FireFox. (MS Internet Explore sucks, in case you haven't noticed.)

But do whatever it takes -- the video is stunning!!

I uploaded the video to YouTube for any of you having trouble viewing it for any reason. I'm not sure if it violates any sort of copyright, so, you might want to watch it in a hurry before it gets taken offline (along with my account).
