Excellent updates Harry! I love the density shots with Trump in the background. The skyline of Chicago is going to be fantastic when all these new towers go up.

Very nice pictures!

Does anyone know how long it will take before the pilling in the hole is finished?

I want to know how deep are they going to dig? in terms of how many more of those concrete rings going to be visible till the end? (now there are 6 rings visible) It looks like there are only 2 roads going from the chicago spire site, does this means demolition of nearby residential buildings or people have to travel using speed boats as alternative?

I never heard of a hilton throw shit out of a window but that just me. Now I'm sure it takes a lot to keep the lake out of that hole. Just like it takes alot to keep the east river out of WTC. I'm not a fan of this project but I'm a fan of supertall and that all that counts.

How can you not be a fan of this project? Because it's not in New York City? I mean really, it's the tallest all residential building that's being built or for that matter even proposed. In addition it's very unique architecturally and the location is magnificent!

Simple by not liking the project lol...I am btw following this one closely and would like to thank harryc for the daily updates. I am a big fan of the design, but I think I am more interested in the construction process right now. I think it is pretty interesting

Exactly what I was thinking.

I haven't checked on this website in over two months and this project looks exactly the same as when I left except without snow covering the site. It's still a big hole with metal rings around it, just not filled with snow.

Ok, she's pretty stupid I agree. But i think there is still a gap between her stupidity and such radical and dangerous stuff like throwing some bar-bells from the 100+ floor

I'm not sure I would like to live in one of these 2 storey townhouses right next to a 150 storey tower ...

What are you talking about, after that tower is finished those town houses will quadruple in value. You could make a fortune selling them.
