Overseas property rush?

By THEAN LEE CHENG

These days, it seems easier to sell the idea to Malaysians about buying properties overseas, especially in hot traditional markets such as Australia, US, Britain and Singapore. Why the sudden surge of interest? More: http://biz.thestar.com.my/news/story...35&sec=bizweek

SpireCam - Webcam Pointed at Chicago Spire Site

We will try to keep this camera pointed at the Spire site throughout the construction - Not much to see yet, but very soon. It takes a 800 X 600 photo every 30 minutes:

Recent Spire Shots

These are being taken weekly at somewhat of a distance, but it should be a good vantage when they change direction and starting building up!

Just a follow up to the e-mail I posted earlier from the Spire sales group:

I found out that the homeowners association fees for living there are going to be 91 cents per sq. foot per month.

So that ends up being $550 a month for the smallest condos and it goes up from there.

in the picasaweb harry michael page thing showing album of progress on chicago spire foundation. It shows all the steel going into the ground in circle, but no concrete activities so I imagine the concrete were poured as they dug.

I find it interesting how they measured exactly the length of the circle and width og the steel so that exact amount of steel are lined up underground side by side and there're no gaps or lack of gaps.
