Is the core likely to be above ground level before Burj Dubai is finished?

What did they use the little hydraulic crane for at the core? With the large crawler cranes there it doesn't look like they'd have a need for it.

After observing all the photos above , its seems like the construction site is like a circle land, circle core, circle caissons etc... Never seen other circle core apart this one and from guangzhou TV and sightseeing tower.

it does look close to the very low buildings in the model and to the water front ,i dont think there has been any 2000 foot towers ever built right next door to any residential homes ? was there any other sites looked at before they choose this one , no more naked sunbathing for the home owners when this monsters finished.lol
