How much parking is there going to be? And where is it going to be? That hole looks pretty small. (no I didn't read all 246 pages of this thread)

Then maybe you should go back and read it rather than asking others to describe the whole construction process (again) just because you are too lazy.

At least one person asks the same question every three or four pages.

7 or 8 floors of underground parking, including parking for 400+ bicycles. It will be located primarily in the South 1/2 of the site ( furthest away in the overview shots ).

The hole is a bit bigger than the core of the building, the building will be as wide as the site is.

Every time I see the giant hole in the ground for the Spire, I think of the Sarlacc from Return of the Jedi. You know, that giant beast whose mouth opens up a giant hole in the sand and all you see are the teeth. I imagine the workers that fall in there will be consumed slowly over the course of a thousand years, while Jabba the Hutt laughs and jerks around a scantily-clad Princess Leia on a chain.

But I digress.

Anyway, that's how I keep myself amused while they continue to fill it. I can't wait for actual construction above ground level :-D.

Thank you so much for your response. It was very appreciated! Very unlike the response after my intial post which was quite rude. A page # link instead would have been enough and shown a little more tact.

Yes, I think it's a bit harsh to expect a newcomer to the thread to go back and read 5,000 posts. His response was very rude.

Maybe there would be a way for someone to post a FAQ for the thread and repost it every couple weeks or so. I certainly am not qualified to do it!!

Good information. Have you or anyone else seen an elevation diagram listing what will be on the various levels (lobby, mechanical, etc...)?

1. core will start rising beore the rest ( and pilling has just been completed )
2. the core in hole has only to rise one floor that we can say "it is rising"
3. the floors around the core don't need to rise

then it is possible that the tower is growing in 3-4 months i think
