Of course, just another failed attempt at humor on my part.

A nice view of Cloud Gate, Chicago. It's a panorama (360 degrees)

Hey, that was pretty cool!

If the gas prices ever go down far enough, a 12 hour drive to Chicago might work - but calculating the cost of gas x2 for round trip might make a train more affordable for me.

One of these days, I have to visit Chicago!

Ed are you even going to invite me? I do love pizza rolls.

Oh and a side note. Not sure if this has been said before but they have sold 368 units as of July.

im planning a train ride from la to chicago next summer!! so far the trip will take about 5 days, but its better than spending $1000+ on gas lodging, and food. not to mention all that traffic. i need suggestions on where to stay, i will be there for about 3 days then leaving for new york to visit my sister.

Where are you from, where construction halts in the winter. Certainly not Chicago, or NYC.

You provide the chips and I'll provide the "dip." Can't wait to enjoy the view.

The report I read details the sales of all units in the downtown area. However, the company that puts it together is always behind in getting it out. This is the latest number they had for the report dated July 2008. The numbers were most likey submitted at the end of June or beginning of July. I think it is most likely more then that and they are just a little behind like always.

high rise sales right now are averaging probably a unit or two every couple of weeks.

i know this project is going to be built but that's only because kelleher's got some serious offshore cash bankrolling him.

we are in a terrible crisis right now in the residential market. it is no longer just a 'market correction' and everyone knows it. there's too much product already on line and too much still under construction waiting to be sold.

commercial leases are down as well. big box retailers are even gun-shy. everyone's planning for the next "boom", but keep pushing that date back.

it's a bad time to be a local architect and residential real estate agent....thank God we got a lot of work in china right now.

BTW, not to sound like a jerk... but can we get this thread back on track. Most of us don't give a damn about your travel schedules or your abilities to take panoramic pictures!!!
