The foundation will be finished by the 1st quarter of 08. Construction starts now.

Ah gotcha. Ive been here long enough that I should remember word for word but the status change from "site prep" to "under construction" only happens when work starts on something that is a part of the structure itself. They'll change it when caissons are actually being drilled, which is why I asked, or when one of the other methods of "official" construction begins. The Chicago mods are pretty strict about it.

Why is the forundation for this building only gonna take 6 months, while the FT takes almost 2 years?
