Did you really need to quote the first post just to say that Indy?

Perhaps not. When you're that high, you can totally lose perspective.. Your mind just can't absorb what it's seeing. Anyone who has stood on the edge of the Grand Canyon knows it's true. I've been to the Grand Canyon, and it's interesting to watch people who wouldn't come anywhere close to a 20 meter sheer cliff walk right up to the edge of a 1 kilometer drop and even dance and play around a bit.

Very few people are actually get "vertigo" or whatever you want to call it at the Grand Canyon. Perhaps it will be the same with Burj Dubai.

The higher floors look absolutely tiny, in relation to the size of the crane. Though I have to reiterate again, its an absolutely beautiful design, whatever the builders' intentions of the building was to be.

I have a feeling that by the time they get up to the highest floors, the usable floor space will be a tiny fraction of the space at lvl 10 and below.

Anyways, I just noticed that the ICC actually has a more formidable outline (by means of its thickness through to the top) than even the Sears Tower!

That's amazing what's happening there in Dubaj. I hope Burj won't collapse, it seems to be too thin for me.
By the way I do really admire all the people working high there building this tower. I would fall down because of my acrophobia. It's crazy.

I think the above pic is the 1000+ metre render. Amazing pics Imre. Wish we had something 1/3rd that height atleast in Bucharest.

the 1000m render is also shown on the board with the current floor number. that's the reason why i think we'll see a 1km tall Burj Dubai
