The building looks much better and more interesting with the crown now coming together.

The only building going up in New york City that would look nice in Dubai is 111 West 57th st , and maybe nordstrom to. I wonder what tower will be complete first Nordstrom or 106. I cant stand skyscraperpages dubai section anymore they lack multiple skyscrapers in their diagram.

God I thought I was the only one! The diagrams of Dubai skyscrapers look horrible! Elite Residence, 23 Marina, Cayan Tower, The Address Downtown Dubai, The Torch, Marina 101, The Bay Gate and Sulafa Tower are really bad. (and I'm sure many shorter towers as well)
They look ugly in the diagrams and i wonder why they don't improve them

SSP heavily depends on artists drawing. if the artists have no interest in drawing the buildings, the buildings will sadly not be drawn. Dubai does not have that bad of a lack though. Cities like Chengdu have a much bigger need for artists. Chengdu has only 3 out of the 20 tallest buildings Complete and U/C drawn.

Another reason for Dubai in particular is that the buildings had drawings up until yesterday I think, but the drawings were now removed from primary because they all had a wrong height and/or design. That way they were not popping up in the "buildings that need to be drawn" section, because they featured a drawing.

You are completely right about skyscraperpage, its dubai page sucks and it lacks marina 101, marina 106 and several other mega projects and it only has 186 drawings for dubai but 1,100 for New york if they were drawing all buildings over 150 meters Dubai and New york would be equal. How many drawing skyscraperpage has for a city does not represent its skyline size at all.

Personally I always wanted to submit renders of buildings as diagrams on SSP. Currently I'm modeling pimarily for Cities:Skylines and do a mix between real buildings and some fictional stuff. Now what keeps me from submitting things to SSP is simply the lack of data about some buildings, or the time consuming task of stiching small pieces of information together. I'm very accutare with my models, I even requested data from Fury himself to draw my Burj model. I would never model by rule of tumb, I'm not good at this at all. So my point is, if someone helped me with research, provided some quality photos and in best case blueprints, I will gladly make textured models that can be rendered with ease

(Little off-topic, sorry for that.)

I looked at a picture took of the Burj Al Arab this week, and at the site directly across from the Burj Al Arab, in between the Jumeirah Beach Hotel and the other hotel, there is a lot of construction going on, there are 5 tower cranes, each one around 70 meters tall. if anyone has a clue to what is going on across for the Burj I would be interested.

I have seen a new photo showing that the construction on the structure is being developed by Jumeirah and is at its first floor level of construction. I think its an expansion of mina a salam. Dubai is really picking up again.

Many important buildings are missing in the NY diagram too, something's up with the diagram section ...
Anyway Hong Kong and New York have about 2x more buildings over 150m than Dubai ... (CTBUH and SSC data).

Yes it is an extension of Madinat Jumeirah
