And BTW, once completed this tower will contribute tens of millions of dollars to the US economy. How ironic

Have you ever stayed in any European hotel on major cities? You pay a fortune for a tiny room with an even smaller bathroom.

What is that tower about 25 floors high seen in the foreground of one of the photographs above? It looks amazing. The Dubai Marina never ceases to amaze me.

It's amazing to me how workers can work from scaffolding that assembled so high up. It would scare the hell out of me.

I like the design. The top looks like a crown.Actually it is not completely a hotel but a hotel cum apartment. The first 33 floors will have a 5 star hotel with 281 rooms while floors 34 to 100 will have residential apartments. There will be five restaurants in the hotel part of the tower while the residential part of the tower will house 252 one bedroom,204 two bedroom , 42 three bedroom apartments and 6 duplex penthouses from the 97th to the 100th floor . I googled it and its Wikipedia page says that it will be opening in 2015. So is it already opened?

Yeah a construction workers job is one of the most riskiest jobs in the world. At times one hears reports of construction workers losing their life while working on tall towers like this.I have genuine respect for construction workers . I would have gone crazy working at such a height.
