Does anyone have a map and/or drawing of the location and names of these buildings?
I saw an old one years ago, but would like a more up to date one.
What an amazing collection of buildings in one location!

It doesn't have much on the Chrysler building and the Petronas towers.

but its definitely one of the best in the last ten years and especially locally in Dubai.

They are not closer to each other, than any other building in Dubai. They just look so close, because they are so tall.

Hello everyone!

It looks very nice, it is praise.
I'm interested in this, a huge weight of this building to pressure the sand, whether this building over time a little down in the sand, and how many centimeters?

Thanks.
Marina looks beautiful. I agree. And maybe if more space given between buildings then it will not be that beautiful. However the person who has an apartment or works in the office with windows pointing to another building may not be happy. I am just curious and not criticizing, was such spacing designed this way or it is because there is a limit in available land in Dubai? Imagine all these buildings got space such that every apartment/office gets nice open view not hidden by other buildings, it will be beneficial for persons inside but sure may look different on skyline photo.

They are not build directly over sand, they are build over reinforced concrete piles that go 30 - 50 meters deep (not including the basement floors).

Those piles can either rest over bedrock deep underneath, or are of friction type and are designed to support the weight of the structure without sinking.
