So people bought in 10 years ago and are just now maybe getting their units? Just in time for another economic crisis?

Land is very expensive in Dubai, so they choose not to leave any vacant between buildings. Landscaping is a luxury. It's one of Dubai's weaknesses.

Land was not expensive, there was nothing there.

Landscaping and good master planning is hard to come by in Dubai, however I think the marina's DENSITY looks quite amazing.
+Also Marina 101's night light testing looks pretty awesome as well. I would love to see the view from the top, all 432 meters high.

How many times do we have to discuss this?

What you see in this picture are supertalls. They are not any closer together than other buildings in the city. When supertalls are next to each other, it just looks like they are so close.

Prove it. Post some street level photos. Seriously though. I would love to see some street level photos of this neighborhood, and all of Dubai for that matter. You seen them in the New York threads all the time, and it's amazing to see the buildings from the ground up, but never here. Why?

Post street level pics please!

Here some taken by me pics to prove you wrong ... DubaiM is right and let's not drag it too far this thread is about the tower in the end

PS: the last pic is a road that cuts thought this district but of course the distance doesn't show cz they are extremely tall

Just use Google Earth... you will see 360° images with almost every part of the city from street level.

The lighting on the crown does indeed look splendid and complements the other Crowns well.
