Some more dust than the last time

No progress at this side for quite a long time now. Are they planning to start the piling soon?

Piling is completed.

They cannot dig up the site before the neighbouring tower has the foundation and the underground floors completed.

Piles can be inserted up to 20 or more meters below surface level.

That doesn't mean anything. Piles can be inserted up to 20 or more meters below surface level (meaning the pile cap can be deep underground).

Errrr... aren't the piles caps not supposed to be connected to the rebar used for the raft? That might be a stupid question, but I am no public work engineer

true, that will be the next stap in the construction of this tower. now they've only driven the piles. next they will excavate the site further till they reach the pile caps and than they'll start working on the raft

And to repeat my self for the THIRD time: Nothing of all that will happen until on the adjacent site of Sulafa Tower they have completed the raft and the underground floors. The reason is that the two towers will have joined bases so only a thin wall separates the two construction sites and it might collapse if they start digging now the site of Marina101.

Wait a couple of months before real work to start here.

And once again: PILING IS COMPLETED.
