Yes, what else is the "TAV"-formwork on top, if not a corebox, always 2-3 levels ahead? The shown diagram from the project website was only wrong by stating "84th level completed", although this was only true for what I'd call the "core", while they were still doing floorplates of lv 81 IMO.

Btw. these figures look already out-dated, should be 85th/82nd level now.

The developer is referring to the overall number of floors completed, including the Ground and podium (above ground) ones.

But the diagram shows 5 built floors above the oversized floor before the setback (no.79), although in fact there were only 2 finished floorplates above... adding the core, we have 5 though.

@Ni3lS: does size matter so much for a sticking out central structure to call it "core / core box"? Compared with the 20-level core of Elite Residences, one could say: "not much of a core at Princess Tower"

I'm.not sure what you are trying to say but because you commenting something on May 7th doesn't mean it was posted at that same day, and surely doesn't mean the original information on that post was.

If there are 5 podium floors it means that the developer updated their website (image posted by bizzybonita) after the floor 79 was completed, and since that happened recently, I see no problem with the accuracy of the developer's update.

I was just referring to the developer's update of May 5th and pics by Imre of May 6th/7th. Sorry if I can't express things better... my comments are no big deal anyway. I'll hold off a bit more.

It should overtake both The Torch and 23marina by next week, becoming the 2nd tallest building in the Marina and the 3rd tallest in that part of town (including Almas Tower)

Its got a nice little setback there! Very interesting, I don't remember seeing anything of the sort on the original render.

I reckon the setback is similar to the Princess Tower caused just by a reduction in thickness of the walls. You can see the exact wall thickness difference very nicely in Imre's last picture.

The setback at Princess Tower is caused by the balconies which are going to be there. At Marina 101 it's propably because of the glass cladding which is on the top (20 or something) floors as you can see on this render.

Incorrect. The Princess corner balconies do not cause a setback throughout the entire sides of the building. It's really the thickness of the wall as clearly visible on Imre's last pics for Marina 101.

For Princess, the floor space area has not changed at all - the outer walls have just lost "weight" and slimmed back about 30-50cm. This can be seen in the Tameer floor plans.
