It needs cladding... but without it, looks monumental!

I honestly like the color, its different than all the typical blue-white repetition in around buildings. black gives the tower a more mysterious look ....spooky in another word

The black looks great. Too bad they can't keep it. The residents would bake inside it, or overload the air conditioning.

Now imagine if the developer for any reason stopped work here and maybe redesign the structure to end up with out the roof feature, it will be exactly like Al attar tower on SZR!

^ unlike nyc they could actually use some boxes to change it up a bit and it would look even more diverse than it does now.

Finally another low-angle shot (I envy you this night walk, PrincessTower , would love to be there):
to the right, some protected cladding is visable, while most of the building is covered with dark pre-cladding.
No idea why the corner facing towards the viewer seemingly still offers pure concrete.

Neighbouring Elite Residence to the left is one step ahead concerning the facade.

There's way more cladding installed on the other side of the building

It's great and all that we see a lot of "out-there" architecture in Dubai, but with such tall buildings so close to each other, views and lighting are probably horrible! There's easily 40ish stories looking right into the adjacent highrise.

Great to see the cladding, finally! Hope they progress as fast as with the concrete structure!

Given the climate of Dubai, could less light actually be preferable?

Also, from the pictures I've seen, all these balconies have excellent views, some of which is the adjacent supertalls.

There's just some protective stuff on the cladding for now (which is blue and white).
