Mr D Invades Tokyo - Greatest City on the Planet

It's without of doubt my favorite city on this planet...

From the world's cutest girls, the squeaky clean streets, the awesome futuristic architecture, the tons of bustling arcades - it's everything you could ever wish for and then some...

It's the always awesome Tokyo

The post is a bit picture heavy.. so if not all show up reloading the page or increasing your browsers discspace usage might help..

Huh... There's pictures both of TT ( http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/9063/38sc9.jpg ) and from it ( http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/3523/27ey4.jpg )

And as for city coverage it is mainly the central city I cover, but I do think I got most of the places presented here... from the habour to the Palace area to Shibuya and the places in between... I even posted a few shots from Odaiba...

If you think a place is missing let me know and I'll see what I got.. ( I have around 200 pics more so chances are I have something )

He he.. hmm... I didn't think nudity was allowed here

Nah.. I'll see what I can do when I get back from work... but it's not like a stalk the girls with a cam or anything...

IMO when it comes to sheer beauty and cuteness Japanese girls are comepltely unmatched

Looks like an amazing city. Definately a place to visit one day for sure. It must cost a fortune to keep the buildings and streets so clean. Unless people actually have respect for their city unlike most British cities where people drop litter everywhere and don't think twice whilst doing it unless they get a fine. Tokyo must be a really expensive place to stay (hotel wise)?

I love Japan!!!

I was just noticing how Tokyo resembles Sao Paulo and I risk to say that Sao Paulo would look exactly the same (cept for the kanas and kanjis ) if it was a rich city.

Tokyo looks super modern and I love this feeling the city gives, and it gives a much bigger "mega-city" feeling than most of the metropoli in the world, there are only a few that can rivalize it.

There is, however, something I wish they had kept: the old Japanese style buildings, they look so beautiful and it seems they've torn them all down. I love the Japanese modernity, but sometimes I think I still prefer the little old cities in the countryside. And in these towns, no country beats Japan and Germany.

To be fair, I think that many of the city's old buildings were lost in a huge earthquake a few years back.

I think that Tokyo is a great city and I love how it's so modern and clean. I do have one gripe though - it looks like most of the buildings date from the 1960s to the 1980s. I would love to see some new, modern cutting-edge architecture going up, rather like the stuff being built in Dubai, or Singapore. Tokyo has a slightly blocky feel at the moment and I think that having some more curvy, glass buildings around would do wonders for the city.

Apart from that though, what a city! Will have to go there someday.............
