remember they are not talking about residents but accomodation, so that includes hotels as well.


alone the residences + south ridge + BDLH + Dubai Mall Hotel should be in the 10000 people range relatively easy.

If they want to get the whole thing finished by the time the big one is complete then they'd better get started on all the other towers now.

no, at least from what i know.

anyway.
towers starting now could be ready by end 2008 malec.
handover for the total project is 2009.

still, landscaping not before 2010 probably.

i just remembered.. someone posted earlier that residences wud be handed over in late summer... i still dont see how those ppl along wit the ppl moving in old town in october.. are gonna get to their houses! god help them if they have luxury cars and have to drive on the gravel roads everyday!

actually , take a look at the access road behind the residences leading to old town, the "boulevard".

it looks quite advanced and they can make it a proper road in two months.

u can already access the residences (almost) by the sales centre road.
