I went to Taman Menteng last night. I was observing, and thinking that this kind of park should be built more in Jakarta. It's pretty neat for a local park, although there were some insignificant small rubbish laid on the floor at some places. And the car park building can't provide enough space for vehicles. That's why due to many visitors, many vehicles (esp motorcycles) parked inside the park, taking some pedestrian space, which is eye-soring.

I remember that some people/group who noted them self as an expert in environment, or "pembela rakyat/ pecinta lingkungan", protesting to government for this car park building existence. Eventhough it certain to be built, they still demanding that it cannot surpass than 3 stories for environmental reasons. Now they must responsible for the consequences!

Sorry guys no pics, it was unplanned trip.
