I might be wrong but to me, Donetsk doesn't seem to be a very rich city. If that stadium had been built in western europe, ticket prices would be very high. Can someone tell me how much tickets cost for Shaktar's gamers? Thx

Thank you ewild. The rates seem to be rather affordable. It's great for the Shaktar fans... cheap tickets and one of the best stadiums in the world

It looks really cheap to western eyes but remember, the average annual income in Ukraine is only about $6,600 compared to about $47,000 in the US. In relative terms the prices are probably similar to tickets in America or Western Europe.

ah, but this is probably what you're noticing...remember, those seats would go up to thousands of dollars if compared to the states or western europe

You can buy tickets for 2 bucks each, that's a bargain for westerners. For Ukrainians it's got to be changed admittedly. But yeah for us westerners, it's cheap. And there's not a bad seat in the house too.

By the way, come to us to Donetsk prior to the beginning of Euro. At us many beautiful and interesting places, as in the city, and glad with a city. For example, the Svjatogorsky Monastery based in 12 century, Art Emovsky factory of sparkling wines (very good sparkling wines, are not worse French), and more many all interesting. You will not regret. I'm always glad to visitors!

I don't know the living standard in Ukraine but 2 bucks per ticket must be quite cheap by Ukrainian standards as well. I'm pretty sure Canada isn't 10 times richer than Ukraine but even if it were, 20 bucks per ticket would be considered dirt cheap for any sporting event.
