Wow, great thread! I was unaware of a lot of these projects (I tend not to go outside the London forum) but this has been very informative! The future is certainly very bright, and I look forward to seeing all these towers start construction!

Well just call me the thread thief
![]() I did something like this a while ago, butI had no pictures just tower names, cities and heights. I used Will's London Summary as a template. |

Well, could you at least separate the projects by 4-5 lines... they're a bit close together.

Brighton is punching above its weight. Looks to be number five after Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds in terms of number and scale of proposals. However, the reality will be very different, the council has been too slow in approving new projects, and the Tories will gain control this spring which will stop all tower construction for a decade.

Very useful thread NG. Having gone to all this work so far and knowing your source material as you do, what's the chances of adding the architect and developer of each tower to your 5 line summaries? Then it would be very INFORMATIVE as well as useful! Cheers, so far,

Excellent informative thread Newcastle Guy, although you realise you've opened a whole can of worms here!
Brighton really does seem to have some excellent stuff in the pipeline, can't wait to see it rise.. but since you're adding observation towers over 100m then you should add the St John's tower in Liverpool... http://www.skyscrapernews.com/buildings.php?id=370 |

And I reckon we should have Chamberlain Clock Tower (100m) and BT Tower (154m?)
