Any idea if there are any conservation plans for that area (or if there is anything worthy of conservation)?

I spotted some old stuff that looked neither here nor there

Thanks.

Lets hope in future a few more towers will be built at Tanjong Pagar.

Based on what I've seen, Tanjong Pagar can support buildings up to 250m, and I dont think the urban planners are quite done with Tanjong Pagar yet.

Yes, saw in URA gallery. A lot more buildings are coming up, residential and commercial, at Tg Pagar, around ICON.

Whats going up in Tanjong Pagar:

2 new hotels
2 new office buildings
Lumiere
Clift
Anson Centre redevelopment
Pinnacle@Duxton

Future plots

More commercial sites around Tanjong Pagar MRT
Future residential plots at Enggor Street
Potential hotel announced for Bernam Street
(potential for other old office buildings to redevelop)

If you imagine all these successfully completed, then the vibrancy and after-office hours character of the area would be transformed.

Those DSLRs that we use do not have in-built panorama features. Just google for panorama software to do one and make sure your photos overlap at least by 1/3 to stitch it properly.

In taking a pano you've got to keep the camera as level as possible. Best is to hold the camera as close to your chest as possible and then swivel on your waist, while keeping the camera level. And ensure that each successive shot has an overlapping area.

Post your pics taken with D80 :-)

wow, nice pano guys. Thank you.
Or, just get a 8-12mm wide angle or fisheye lenses, they solve all your stiching problems.
