As for nemo I couldn't go, no young relatives in Ohrid and was stuck with family for the week that I was there. All my clubbing in Macedonia was done at studio 54 in Prilep

I don't remember if anything will be built, i don't think so, it's not a very attractive building and really stands out on most Ohrid photos of that view.

Yea, really cool place i have been there for a few drinks as realek said they are going to build a small second "main square" which will have a view directly towards the Plaoshnik monastery and it should be pretty nice!

I think its so interesting that this is on a lake in the middle on land. Lake Ohrid must be very large, looks like the sea.

it does look like the sea especially on days with less visibility when the opposite shore can't be seen. Also the water transparency and color gives very sea-like feel.

Area wise it's comparable to the bays formed by the Halkidiki fingers.

It was main source of fishing there and quite famous, may be fish population decreased. But I really doubt there's no trouts fishing at all, I guess it's just limited.

it's an absurd situation. It's illegal to fish it for most of the time but it's not illegal to buy it or sell it in restaurants. So obviously the prohibition doesn't help much. Not that the situation with the trout population is critical but it's not at a level at which it should be.

MojaBL, I've eaten regular trouts caught here. It's from the same or similar kind or subgroup (I dunno the exact Bio term) -brown or something. And I know that Ohrid ones are pretty famous. But I really doubt I've eaten one -pls don't draw me as poacher
