everything is fine except that they should use carpet on the night restaurant floors, a nice rich cozy carpet

the more fast food type or caffes are perfect with the wood floors etc

lol thanks for the pictures, they are really great!

That hotel has a very nice and promising interior, however the facade doesn't look really attracting...

this hotel is from the 1960s, it looks great imo, kindof brutalist-contemporary, maybe it needs better surroundings

Yes I really like the facade. If they glassed it over (which thank god they cant) it would look cheap and unimaginative.

Yeah, i didn't say that the facade is ugly, i like it but if you compare it to these posh and spoiled five-star luxury hotelscrapers in Dubai that would look like these crappy stone houses built after the fall of the Shah

No it wouldnt. Dubai has no contemporary 1960s heritage. So it would look out of place and dwarfed. This modernist archtecture has high cultural chic and is very highly valued in Europe. Look up Le Corbusier. He had major influence on modernist architecture starting a brutalist craze worldwide. He built a series of exclusive apartment blocks in western Europe in the 1950s like this one in Berlin:

exactly

iran especially tehran has a fairly profound 1960s architectural heritage

this hotel imo is so classy, very chic, it doesnt try to be modern, it doesnt try to stand out like as u said "posh"
its a lovely blended and well constructed piece, beauty

So that hotel was built under the Pahlavi era?

Forgive me lol, maybe i'm just a too lazy reader but when i saw the interior it looked very newly built.

And yes the facade does look very fresh it's not so ugly, you don't go like "Wow what a cool hotel!" when you see it, but the interior truely made me just sit and stare at my screen for a few seconds.

From what i've read there lives many unemployed people and lots of worker families there, so i guess that's why they don't put really much effort into that zone.
