It is not very good signed despite if it looks ok on this picture. It should be better marked, that there are two successive intersections on very small distance (less than 50 meters). I'm expecting new junction to A1 at Novigrad na Dobri which will shorten journey time to the south considerably. How is construction progressing?

That exit (#4 Novigrad) is under construction for a very long time
A week ago, when I passed there, they were making those concrete gutters on exit and entrance ramps. If they speed up a bit, the exit could be finished in a month. Here you can see that intersection on a satellite view (but the picture is old, the progress is much more visible today): http://preglednik.arkod.hr/ARKOD-Web...41&map_sc=3571

But I don't know the current status of the planned road. Today there's a local road from Novigrad na Dobri to the border

it is not u/c for a long time. it was planned as soon as the motorway between karlovac and Vukova Gorica was built, and everything was prepared to make an exit there (overpass, exit ramps, terrain works...), but it was planned to be finnished later. as far as i remember, that exit should be actually connection of Duga Resa with motorway, and connection to D6 (Netretić) is additional thing.

Yes, but that's not the same road.

I know it's a shorter alternative, but far less comfortable than over Zagreb. In any case, signage isn't consistent, because they have Novo mesto on the motorway, but Ljubljana on the old road (from the opposite direction though).

I know that. But one year for building an exit is really a long time, because there's not so much works to be done, especially because everything was prepared already, as you said (overpass, exit ramps...). Look at the exit 1a Donja Zdenčina - it was designed, built and opened in less than a year! Exit Novigrad is on the half way to be finished after a year or more of construction

But I think it would be better to build an expressway from Bosiljevo-1 to the border (following the route of D204), because Slovenia will build an expressway from N.Mesto to Črnomelj and that would be the shortest route from Dalmatia to Slovenia.

On Croatian Television has been announced today that the section of A1 from intersection Ravča to intersection Vrgorac will be finished till the end of June this year.

If someone from GoogleEarth is reading this thread, please upgrade your map and mark the whole A6 as a motorway.

It is NOT (marked with the letter A), as anyone can see at the shot below, which itself was taken some 1/2 hour ago.

In the other hand, why is some 200 km of half-exspressways in Serbia marked as fully completed motorways (letter B on the same shot)?

No, G. Earth is more up-to-date than G. Maps (just look at Slovenian A2 by Trebnje, Trieste bypass or Hungarian M6-M60), but they hide 4-lane expressways from afar (like Slovenian H4 east of Selo), I just don't know why they hide Croatian A6 west of Bosiljevo. I think the speed limit is just 110 km/h, but the same holds for Slovenian A5, f.e.

The speed limit on A9 from Pula to Kanfanar is also 110 km/h, but this section is accurately marked as motorway, which can be seen at the same shot above.

I don't understand. Are you talking about signs on labels or satellite view?

There are correct labels on Google maps, Google Earth and Wikimapia.

The other thing is satellite view, which is very old and not up-to-date

On the other hand, A8 and A9 are marked with A-numbers, although they still aren't motorways (A9 until June, A8?)...

I am talking about Google Earth, about satellite views from high altitudes (let's say a view of whole ex-Yugoslav region in screen size). Of course in a satellite view from relative small altitude (as this which you presented) there is whole A6 marked as a motorway.

Aha Maybe it's because of the distance of the view (when you zoom in, the whole motorway network appears), or because this is an older version (maybe they update facts only in small altitudes-when you zoom in a bit more)

I think Grdelica-MK border is not even a half-profile motorway...

@Puležan: motorways appear at app. 150 km. expressways appear at app. 100 km. try it and you'll see that A6 is in group with expressways.
