i have made a fast sum and got a number of 1156 km of full profiled motorways in HR (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7 north from Matulji, A9, A11)

Few facts about A9:

The whole A9 has been opened today (at noon). The opening ceremony was held on the "Mirna" rest area. So, there's 82 km of full-profile motorway from the border to Pula interchange (Umag-Kanfanar-Pula), except Mirna and Limska draga viaducts which aren't in full profile.

The speed limit is temporarily 110 km/h, but there's an information that it should be raised to 130 after few technical tests and certain period of road usage Also, the hard shoulder should be added to the old (southbound) carriageway.

i haven't counted A12, it is still officially expressway. and it has 24 km. A13 doesn't have a single km built.

- Sv.Kuzam-Križišče
- Tunel Sveti Ilija
Are they really going to be opened?

no. these projects have been prolonged...
completion of Sv. Kuzam - Križišće is expected in 2013. and Ilija tunnel is postponed due to the lack of money

Sv.Kuzam - Križišće is part of Rijeka bypass (easternmost section). You could've seen the pictures of that on previous pages - the terrain isn't prepared for asphalting on all sections, also there's a viaduct which is half done, so it's hard to believe it'll be finished by the end of this year

Similar problem seems to be with the tunnel Sv.Ilija (it has been dug through the mountain, but there's no money to finish the signalization and other technical equipment this year).

Both infrastructures are financed by HC (company for state roads) which is in big financial and corruption problems, so everything under it's jurisdiction goes very slowly

Nobody knows

A10 should be the connection between A1 and border, but in last few months there are plans to divert A1 from it's way to Dubrovnik and direct it to the border, in which case A10 has no sense. Also, in some plans the expressway from Ploče to A1 (which in fact is state road D425) is named A10

A10: According to HAC (and Croatian Government) the A10 goes from Interchange Metkovic to the border, look here http://www.hac.hr/en/business-activi...truction-plan/ and here http://www.hac.hr/hr/autoceste/karta-autocesta/

Back in former days, D425 was to be planned as part of the A10, but this was changed some years ago. Anyway, that the cause why this road is sometimes signed as A10, but it's wrong.

The "real" A10 should be about 4 km long, from Interchange Metkovic to the border. On Openstreetmap, this is already signed (http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=43...om=13&layers=M) but I don't know if the position is correct. It seems a bit short and I would have expected the interchange a few kilometers in the southeast (nearer by Metkovic).

Anyway HAC says that the A10 is already in construction and that the part from D62 to the border will be opened this year. Also the part of A1 from exit Ploce to interchange Metkovic should be in construction this year and I guess it should be finished together with Vrgorarc-Ploce in 2013.

Can anyone confirm this? And is there really work done on A10 and A1 beyond Exit Ploce?

Again? That "Motorway Construction and Maintenance Plan for 2011" was approved back in March, that was just 3 months ago...

Is there a source (press) for that?
