Yes indeed. There's nothing wrong with 140/150, but 200+ is really dangerous. It takes nearly a kilometer to stop at that speed i guess.

Not that much. "Only" ~300 meters. Which also is not too safe.

of course you can. the most famous is Drava Route. try to google it if you are interested, but there is really not much information about it unfortunately. that cycling route is situated around river Drava at north of Croatia, approximately between Virovitica and Varaždin. it is about 30 km from my city and i have new bike so i cannot wait spring and summer to start exploring it!!

here is the map of whole route in .pdf. it is signed very well and it combines dust roads and tarmac.

Do they follow roads, or they have their own routes with their own "roads"?

Drava Route is combined. but mostly it follows less important local roads without many traffic. somewhere it runs on dusty roads, and somewhere it is not possible to avoid state roads, but not important ones, for instance D210.

Excellent photos. What is the average number of car/truck trips on the A5? How far north does it extend from the A3? And does it extend south right to the Bosnia border?

The A11 can be seen Under Construction on Google Earth, just south of Zagreb they're constructing a cloverleaf.

A8 and A9 are half-profile and signed as B8 and B9
(B = Brza Cesta = Expressway)

^ I think "B" signs have been eliminated, so they should now be A8 and A9 respectively. And I wouldn't get too excited about A11 getting built any time soon.

aftually, there are B8 and B9.mistaken was A6 which was signed as A road al the way, and it is not whole motorway (but from this year it will be full motorway, and probably that's the reason for not being B road).
B8 and B9 are not going to be shanged soon into full profile, so that's why they are B roads.

^ Oh ok, then I mistook it for the A6 and thought they did the same with B8 and B9, thinking they would be converted into full profile soon anyway.
