It's not low. Just far away, down in the valley

Beautiful bridge, you forgot to mention it would be 2.5 km long.

Something about the A1 Ploce - Dubrovnik if it should stay on HR territory, or cross the BIH near Neum.

BIH insists that motorway to Dubrovnik enter to BIH after Ploče and continues to MNE on its teritory, and they expect HR government to take part in finances

I think this would be better idea. No sense in driving transit traffic all around BiH territory.

Why it would be better, both options have pros and contras. If there were no political aspect all other aspect are pro motorway trough BiH.

which? the main reason is traveling time. and it could be just worse if you add 2 border crossings. not to mention additional authorizations for lorries whiule passing through BIH

They could construct the A1 through BIH and make border checks at the exits to other BIH roads, so you can drive uninterrupted on A1. Considering the length through BIH territory (4500 meters), one exit will do nicely.

actually, we are not talking about passing through Neum area, but whole motorway south from Ploče. BIH insists tha motorway enters to BIH there and continues to Montenegro. and they expect HR government to give the money for construction

this what you're saying would be the best way through Neum

I can understand that the Croats do not want to pay for such a long section across Bosnian territory...

With my idea, a 5km crossing of BIH can also make some money for the Bosnians. If the Croats get the right-of-way through BIH cheap or for free, the Bosnians could get a share of the toll money...

Like 20,000 vehicles a day, 5 cents per km, 5km = (€ 0,05 * 5 = € 0,25 * 20.000 = € 5.000) per day for Bosnian revenue.

Sure that makes sense, but we're in the Balkans so it’s not only the rational when it comes to making such decisions. Bosnia is a complicated place, bypassing it means avoiding (probable) complications.

This posted by X-type (Bosnian option), Dubrovnik to be reachable only through Bosnia, is absolutely unacceptable.
