I dont like the above video, the driver has an awful music playing combined with talking about Syriza, a deadly combination.

Some comments in the list of under construction highways in Greece:

2016 opening:
A52: Aktio – Loutraki 35km (2009 to >= 2016) – ? – map
A52: Loutraki – Ambraktia (A5) 13km (2009 to >= 2016) – ? – map

There is no chance to deliver any section of A52 this year. There are some minor construction works but everyone expect a new completition for the remaining works to complete full highway A52. Even for the section bypassing Amfilochia which it looks in good shape, 2017 is a realistic delivery date.

2017 opening:
A3: Panagia (A2) – Trikala ~50km (2008 to > 2016) – project – map
A3: Xuniada – Anthili (A1) ~35km (2008 to > 2016) – project – map

Above 2 sections of A3 are officially suspended. There are some articles that the south part of A3 (Xyniada - Anthili) might be included the following month in the construction agreement of Kentriki Odos concession butnothing offcial yet.

Also there are a number of under construction highways in Greece with are not included in the official highway network (upgrade of national/ regional roads), but they have highway standards (grade separated carriageways, controlled access through interchanges).

Patrida - Naousa 7,7km (first part of upgraded road network Veria A2 - Naousa - Skydra). Planned delivery October 2016

Nea Potidaia - Kassandreia 18km Official delivery October 2016/ Last days news mentioned partial delivery to traffic within this month.
Also the medium part from the end of A24 (previously A25) Nea Moudania to the start of highway mentioned above (Nea Potidaia) is under construction (~4km) by a different constructor but I can't find a clear delivery date.

Assiros (A25) - Nea Santa 11,4km. Last part of A25 - Kilkis network. Estimated delivery 2018

Upgrade of A90 Gournes - Chersonissos to highway - 9km - Estimated delivery end 2017/beginning 2018

Thanks for this update. Is there any news recently regarding the A22 highway/expressway from Serres to Kavala?

What's the (future) road number?

A24: Nea Moudania – north of Nea Poteidaia ~5km (? to ?) – ? – map
?: south of Nea Poteidaia – Kassandria 17km (2010 to October 2016) – projectmap

I've measured the length of the future road b/n the end of the median near Nea Moudania and the beginning of the media just north of the bridges. It's a little bit longer than 5km.

The southern section seems to have a length of (exactly) 17km like it's mentioned on the project page.
What's the (future) road numbering of the southern road, A24 too?

EO65: Nea Santa – Assiros (A25) 11.4km (? to March 2018) – ? – map

Any info when construction works began?

IIRC, it's just a 2-laned road and it's not planned to be upgraded later on. Like the section opened in January 2015:

There is no official number of this road at this moment as existing road was not classified as National Road. It is provincial road Veroia - Skydra.
In reality constructions began around 2009 but due to constructor financial problem a new competition occured in 2014 for replacement.

The same numbering issue as above.
Officially they are upgrade of Provincial Road Nea Moudania - Kassandreia
Now the first section of 4,2 is under construction but works are currently stopped due to constructor issue. Respective authority (Egnatia Odos) has announced constructor replacement and completion of the road until end of 2016 (personal statement: no chance)
Except from this part there is a small section of 1km (before Nea Potidaia bridge) that has been blocked in the past after residents appeal to Supreme Court. Noone knows what will happen.

Finally the 2nd section (Nea Potidaia - Kassandreia 17,5km) is delivered to traffic today

The contract was originally signed on 2011 but due expopriation issue it became active on 2014.

This section is now a 2-laned road and there is a contract in progress to upgrade it in a grade separated highway (like Irakleio - Gournes)

No, A24 (recently the number changed from A25) is highway Thessaloniki - Nea Moudania.
Since last decision, A25 is now only the north part Thessaloniki (A2 Lagkadas I/c) -Promachonas (BG borders).

After Nea Moudania although road is upgraded to grade separated highway standards, it is not classified as highway and not included in Greek highway network A*.
New sections are classified as highspeed road (οδός ταχείας κυκλοφοριας) and the signs in newly delivered section are blue and not green.
In regards to numbering, there is no number. It is a privincial road with huge traffic not even a national road

Not at all. A25 ends at A2 north of Thessaloniki. The new road opened yesterday is a provincial road only. A24 currently ends near Nea Moudania. I don't know if the u/c u/c extension up to north of Nea Potidea will be A24 or a non-numbered provincial road.

Nevertheless, I guess your question is not about road numbering but about road construction itself. I guess your question is whether it is planned to extend the "expressway" to the south or the new end point will remain the end point.

The road number itself is just a formality, more important is that the new section is already in operation. The speed limit is 110 km/h under these circumstances?
Yes my implication was whether it would go further south to say Pefkochori but given the nature of the road, I guess Kassandreia will be the end point.

There are some studies to construct a new road from Kassandreia to Agia Paraskeui (close to Peukoxori) in the middle of peninsula.
But there is no realistic timeline that it will be constructed in the following years.

I haven't found a better quality image that below (from studies presentation in 2013 to local authorities)

One more final push and the highway is completed, even the great oracle at Dodona is impatient to see it .

PROGRESS OF HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION IN TEMPI VALLEY (ACCORDING TO AEGEAN MOTORWAY)

Overall Progress of Works 90,5% (May 2016)
In Particular:
New Section of the motorway - Evangelismos - Southern Portal of Tunnel T1
This section is approximately 2.5 km long and constitutes the extension of the existing motorway from Evangelismos I/C to Tembi Valley, up to the portal of Tunnel T1. The construction of both the structure for the protection of the Gas Pipe and the OSE & Old National Road “twin tunnels” has been completed. Currently, the underpass serving traffic to adjacent properties is being constructed. The earth works and sewerage/ drainage works are also in progress. Total progress of works for this section is at 87%.
Tunnel T1
This is the first “twin” tunnel of Tembi Valley, approximately 2km long.
The excavation and the final lining works have been completed.
All asphalt layers have been completed whilst E/M infrastructures are in progress, completed by
83%.
New section of the motorway – Northern portal of Tunnel Τ1 – Southern portal of Tunnel Τ2
This is the open road section that connects tunnels T1 and T2 of Tembi Valley, approximately 1km long.
Earth works and technical works have been completed, whilst sewerage/ drainage works, road construction and E/M facilities are currently in progress. Total progress at this section stands at
83%.
Tunnel Τ2
This is the second “twin” tunnel of Tembi Valley, approximately 6km long – the largest road tunnel in the Balkans.
The excavation and the final lining works have been completed.
All 6 asphalt layers have been completed.
The E/M infrastructures are currently in progress, completed by
78%.
New section of the motorway - Northern portal of Tunnel Τ2 – Rapsani
This is the open road section from the exit of Tunnel T2 at Omolio to the Rapsani I/C, for a length of approximately 3km. This section will be connected with the existing section of the motorway (Rapsani – Aigani section) at Pyrgetos Toll Station. Furthermore, it is foreseen that a semi – interchange will be constructed at Rapsani servicing connection with Raspani, Pyrgetos and the adjacent towns with Larissa. This semi-interchange will also connect the motorway with the Old National Road at Tembi, an area of environmental and cultural interest.
It is foreseen that 6 bridges will be constructed, the largest of which will be the Pinios River Bridge, extending over 200m. Except for asphalt works, all other works at the Bridge have now been completed. Total progress at this section stands at
80%.
New section of the motoway - Aigani– Southern portal of Tunnel T3
This is the open road section from Aigani I/C to the portal of Tunnel T3 at Panteleimonas, of a length of approximately 5.5 km long. In this section, the new motorway “runs” parallel and to the west of the old National Road. An interchange is foreseen to be constructed at Platamonas to connect the Platamonas coastal areas with the old National Road. In addition, 8 bridges shall be constructed, the largest of which is 40m long. Construction works for the bridges have been completed, whilst road construction and asphalt works are currently in progress. The total progress of works at this section stands at 80%.
Tunnel T3
This is the third “twin” tunnel located at the Panteleimonas area, approximately 3km long.
The excavation and the final lining works have been completed.Drainage/ sewerage works have also been completed whilst at the southern portal, asphalt works are in progress, completed by
40%. E/M facilities are also in progress, completed by 68%.
New section of the motorway - Northern portal of Tunnel T3– Skotina
This is the last open road section of the new motorway, for a length of 1.7 km where this meets the existing motorway at Skotina. At this section, the new motorway “follows on” the existing old National Road which is “relocated” to the east with the construction of the New section.
3 bridges are foreseen to be constructed in this section, the largest of which is 200m long. The bridges have almost been completed. For the whole section to be completed it is necessary for the Old National Road to be relocated to the east; this is expected to take place shortly, once certain expropriation issues are resolved.
Total progress at this section stands at 79%.

This section is now a 2-laned road and there is a contract in progress to upgrade it in a grade separated highway (like Irakleio - Gournes)
Is it only planned to build a 2nd carriageway between Gournes and Chersonissos or is it also planned to build a 2nd carriageway b/n Chersoissos and Kalo Chorio one day?

When have construction works on Gournes-Chersonissos section been started?

The deadline for the highway construction is March 2017 (funding from EU sets that date). I think they could complete this project earlier. It depends (mostly) from the cash flow.

No, a 2nd carriageway is currently constructed only until Chersonissos.Relevant contract was initially signed on October 2012 but due to several issues there were big delays. Actually construction works started 2 year ago.

After it there is no plan for a 2nd carriageway (and probably traffic doesn't justify a 2nd carriageway in the near future).
There are much more important, busy and dangerous sections on Cretan Northern Axis that needs to be upgraded in divided highway

Just for the record, next section (Malia bypass) was delivered on traffic just in 2012 with one carriageway.

Also Chersonissos has been chosen as the end of dividen highway in Irakleio region as it will be the starting point of a proposed highway connecting North Axis with new international airport in Kastelli. International competition for the new airport is pending for several years now with repeating extension of interest submission deadline and road access is part of this competition also.
