I was just gonna say, usually V-power in the Netherlands is like € 0.08 - €0.10 more expensive than regular. But damn, € 1,80 per liter, who buys that?

Who buys fuel generally in Greece nowadays?

Due to the austerity measures (IMF etc., you know), fuel has gone up considerably as tax on it has gone up too much.

Also note that fuel on motorways and other roads outside the big cities is always a bit more expensive.

@Angelos: Are the last photos (A7/A8/A6) taken in the last few days? If so, it seems that Olympia Odos has replaced the signs only in the direction of Korinthos and not those towards Athens. So there is the funny thing to see Nea Peramos exit as 4 (westbound) and 8 (eastbound).

Yes the pictures were taken on Wednseday. About the exit numbering i am confused as you said the signs are only replaced Westbound the only road with proper numbering is A7 and A6

Thank you , When i go to Athens i rarely or even never visit the center. I usually go to the northern suburbs or south but i can give you some tips about the road. it is the A1 , its an urban motorway with 4 lanes the asphalt is in bad condition and its congested all the time but you will have a wondeful view of Athens

And the "old" exit numbering (ie. Agioi Thedoroi - 11, Nea Peramos - 8 etc.) seems more logical than the "new" one (as I said a few days ago). Another case of -->

Is the high gas costs related to the burden of tax hikes to bail Greece out from its debt?

You should also know that I had to pay EUR 280.00 for bailing out Greece. I was not happy with this considering the reckless Greek spending and chaotic budget discipline in Greece. Will Greece leave the Euro?

this is a infrastructure thread not a eu economic one.
if you are living in the eu it is part of what all nations do if they want this pathetic union to succeed.this so called family union will not succeed with media and people within the union whom do not support each other in good and bad times, therefore we are all doomed by being in this union.

i wish we would not be in such a union since noone supports each other.
do not feel or assume any nationstate is safe from this worldwide economic crisis,
it aint a greek issue
this union only helps the rich get richer and destroy national identities and cultures within europe.
therefore i want out the sooner the better.
this is no bailout
but rather loans which greeks will be paying back to corrupt politicians and
bankers who are also responsible along with our own corruption within ellas who created this situation.
