Congretulations on the A4 opening.

For the A2: will the road follow the old 1980 alignment between Bolimów en Zyrardów ? And if that's the case, what will be done with the viaducts already built (i.e. on GM to be seen near Miedniewice). Will they be teared down and replaced, or will they have a major refurbishment ?

Definetely teared down and replaced. They were constructed in the time when... it could be of 'questionable' quality

Yes, it will use old route as well.

So another parts of Warsaw Express Beltway are under construction now, another 8 km part S8 and like 3 km part of S2

In English, one can use either (film traditionally, though movie is gaining a lot more usage thanks to the American take over of our language). In the past the English abbreviated 'moving pictures' to 'pictures' as in "we're going to the pictures".

American (as different a language from English as Bahasa Meyalu and Bahasa Indonesia, which get seperate wikipedias) calls them movies and never film (though you film a movie).

Then again, what is being talked about is a 'video'.

It's hard to believe A4 will be ready for june 2012 from Krakow to the Ukrainian border ,since no tenders are open (perhaps I'm wrong) and nothing is done in this big section of 250 kilometers. In the coming years that will be the only connection by motorway with Ukraine ,so it's a real priority I think.
Any news ?

To be honest, all the latest news from Ukraine really mean that this country has huge problems with organisation of Euro 2012.
There is a possibility that there will be no matches in Lviv, then the A4 to the Ukrainian border would't be needed.
Communication with Dnipropetrovsk or Kiev is better by plane, I think.
Here is the proper thread about Euro 2012:

Situation with A4 is not so bad. There are open tenders for most of still missing section between Szarów and Korczowa (223,5km). Out of this 223,5km, the only pending is tender for section Rzeszów (w. Wschodni) - Jarosław (w. Wierzbna) - 41,2 km, which should be opened this year.

After entering Poland on the new beautiful A4 Zgorzelec-Krzyzowa many drivers want to go to a petrol station to enjoy lower fuel prices than in Germany.
There is a petrol station Orlen Jędrzychowice 98B, more than 600 m in Northern direction on DK4/DK94 of exit Zgorzelec on A4 Zgorzelec-Krzyzowa.

But you must leave the motorway, so you lose time and comfort.
Has A4 Zgorzelec-Krzyzowa a petrol station with a direct exit from the motorway?
If not now ... when?

The tender for petrol stations will be announced soon, at least that's what they said in the news.

Look, Mateusz's town.

I see there are still no Berlin and Dresden on the A4×A18 interchange.

True ! DW297 leads to DK30 (Zgorzelec-Jelenia Góra), loooong time ago main route from Szczecin to Jakuszyce was going through Bolesławiec, today through Legnica
