2nd post on these forums! And already a request:
Would be nice if somebody posted a map of all Polish motorways and expressways with the amount of lanes they have (colour coded for example).
Thanks!

Sooner or later GDDKiA will announce a Poland-wide tender for new road signs. That would be the best scenario as changing signs on a road-to-road basis would take forever and make even more mess than it is today.

Good to see that they prepare the viaducts for 2x2, it can save a lot of money later

Yeah, this is crap, but I'm always telling myself stupidity can go by and the road will stay.

I think you are talking about the maps where it shows the status of highways, in terms of how many are done. I am asking for a map showing the amount of lanes on a highway. (So for example if there are 3 in one direction, it would be coloured green, if there are 2, it'd be coloured red, whatever, etc.)

Ah, this way. Than the only 2x3 sections(only A and S) are: A4 from Gliwice to Katowice and the southern part of Kraków ring.

Other 2x3 sections are either U/C or too short to mention.

Many roads in Warszawa and Silesia-City are six lane roads that would've been classified as freeways in most other countries. Like Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa or Trasa Siekierkowska

Sorry sir. We want to have less than we have. This was possible according to the law introduced in 1996. Unfortunately another one came in 1999

You forgot about something. The whole S86 is 2x3 or more (between ICs Pogoń and Grota-Roweckiego it's 2x4 road).

This can be a bummer because some roads are designed to be a 2X2 roads at their destination, where as the other ones will have a space for additional lanes upon request.
