In China they managed, but question is if they do in Poland?

A2 -> S2

What is more important by that time also S8 in Warsaw from A2 Konotopa to Marki will be available (except section including Toruński bridge - which anyway exists, but requires modernization) and S2 from A2 Konotopa to Puławska (we are waiting for results of tender for Konotopa-Lotnisko section).
This means that at least from West it will be easier to access Warsaw.

Poland has different labor laws than China I suppose. We'll see how it works out. I doubt if those Chinese workers in Poland are not subject to Polish/European labor laws.

Definitely they are. But for instance required by Law minimal monthly wages in Poland (and of course it is difficult to have experienced construction worker for this money) are really minimal - just 1276 PLN gross in 2009 (ca. 300 EUR). Experienced Polish worker will ask for much more. I guess just on that you can save a lot.
There are of course other factors to be considered: max working hours/month, work permit in Poland, etc.

How many toll booths will there be in the Warsaw-German border section of the A2 once that section is completed? Will there be any additions to the current three?

I believe their goal is to switch to a closed ticket system once the motorway is completed and traffic volumes are high enough.

Sadly yes. From what I know there will be 8 booths, maybe 6.

That is sad news indeed. I wonder how much it will cost. If the price remains the same, it will cost 66-88 zloty from the border to Warsaw .

AFASK (As far as SISKOM knows) the only Chinese "workers" that are coming to Poland are from engineering and managment departments. De facto, the motorway will be build by "polish"/"european" (whatever...) sub-contractors.

Ca. 435 km out of 450 km will be tolled. The system is changing and you'll pay for 1 km.

And in this way:
PPP section (245 km) will have 0,20 PLN/km = 49 PLN
other sections(195 km) will have 0,10 - 0,15 PLN/km = 19,5 PLN - 29 PLN

------------

Together it will be 68,5 - 78 PLN (16 - 18,5 euro)

/\ Great pictures, thanks for posting.

PLH: Thanks for the information! Its sad that it will be so expensive, but it will still be much better than the current situation.

Will there be any concessions for local traffic?
