I guess the winter stop will be over in about three weeks and we can see construction projects starting all over Poland?
Construction works on A2 Stryków-Konotopa will start no sooner than mid-summer, a lot of paperwork still needs to be processed. And the winter is still holding strong, three weeks is a bit optimistic, most of Poland is still under thick cover of snow. And when the snow finally starts to melt, some construction sites are in danger of being flooded (A8 around Wrocław, A1 near Toruń). So I guess this year serious construction works probably won't start until late March.

Now all we need to do is keep up the momentum of the 2000+ years and we'll soon have a great motorway/expressway network.

Even in 2012, network will be not sufficent. a Hell of a lot still will need to be done well after 2015, 2020 and so on

Oh I agree, I meant 'soon' in relation to the building that went on before 2000, where decades would go by with little to no construction.

True, currently it's a revolution comparing to previous decades. Even during commie times tiny sections were done but something was happening. Not as much in terms of motorways. But loads of dual carriageways in cities was built in cities.

Not everywhere, but it can be that high in the Randstad yes.

Generally, I think you can speak of € 20 - 25 million per km on normal non-urban sections.
