That's not the entire subsection to Świerklany, right?

According to the map, no . Pity. Anyway I might use this section as well this winter already on my route to Bohumin . I just wonder would be better to go from there through Rybnik or Zory to get on DK 78?

Why the delay in opening A1 all the way to Świerklany? When will the stretch to Świerklany be opened?

The delay is due to floods and winter. It will be opened this spring.

--------

What's more, from today on only 4,5 km out of 670 km of A4 just at the Ukrainian border are waiting tor the construction to start. The decision for 17 km was signed today.

It's clear from the video that the A1 is now open as far as route 935.

So now we have a motorway linking Gliwice, Zory and Rybnik
Not especially useful to international traffic . Will the A1 motorway ever reach the Czech border?

Zory and Ribnik themselves are important enough to run a motorway to. Is it really so bad now? If it went as planned, the A1 would've been another 7 km longer today, which still doesn't make it very useful for transit traffic. Just wait another 14 months and you'll be satisfied!

The next 7km will provide a definite improvement for transit traffic.

A question guys: what is the current situation on the A4 between Jedrzychowice and Kraków? Is it snow-free? I'm going to Kraków this weekend so I'd like to know, thanks in advance

As these cameras might not be very handy overnight - the A4 is free of snow and there is no sign of heavy snow coming.

Remember to take your camera with you, Timon

Paste this text in google translator, our prime minister Donald Tusk promised us 2 years ago an economic miracle (like in Ireland) and now we have it.

Road authorities build 753 km of motorways and 600 km of expressways, this year also repaired 767 km of roads. There are good prospects for next year, when construction begins next 40 km of motorway and over 159 km of expressways and 66 km of ring roads. Finally, the driver will ride along new roads, 230 km of highways, over 70 km of expressways and nearly 80 km of ring roads.
Finally. Those numbers are amazing.

It's not about politics, you are right but politicians are the person who decide about money spend on motorway construction.

I was driving yesterday from Krakow to Ostrava through Sosnica Zory/Rowien
The asphalt is clean and black , I was driving 130 km/h , sometimes 140 km/h
even a little 150 km/h,
Today I`m driving from Ostrava to Lubin through Sosnica , Wroclaw , Legnica
so I`ll tell you how is the road but I don`t expect much difference compared
to A4 part to Krakow

PS
Driving on A1 to Rowien is fantastic , almost no traffic and 3 lines ,
well the left line is not very safe , some small patches of brown dirt snow
