Yes last remaining noise and crash barries will be completed by the 15th Dec between Lublin-Piaski, though the National Road 7. and greenery (spring) will still take place otherwise it's a full expressway!

The A6 at Szczecin 2.2km should be open by the 14th Dec and A4 East of Rzeszow towards the Ukrainian border (15km) should be open on the 15th Dec but Poland is suffering from an early cold snap with -10 temperatures and snow in the past couple weeks so that might be delayed.

Two observations;

* It's called the "airport interchange". I don't see any airport on satellite photos
* Notice the change of land-use patterns in this area. I wonder what this is.

It's a grass airfield, it's situated at Wójczyńskiego street. On your pictured its in center top section. There are plenty of such airfields as flying & gliding is popular in Poland. The latter is one of the things we are really good at.

The local government would naturally like to build a regular airport there, but this is science fiction for now.

Because Suwałki bypass is currently not ready for construction (design in progress) and there are even rumours about removing it from National Roads Construction Master Plan for 2014 - 2020 period. The traffic shall probably be diverted to the county road connecting S61/DW655 interchange and current DK8.

The general idea to do something with the mess we have currently in exit numbering and naming has reached a critical mass level. Taking into account how things are being done in our great country, I'd would say something should be announced in 2013 (but I'm an optimist).

Currently the crucial factor in this issue is to secure a reasonable solution.

It's worth mentioning that the DK78 Jędrzejów northern bypass opened to traffic. It's expressway standard (GP class) but doesn't have S/A status.
