There are clear quoting rules set by Jan. And all must keep to them. There are no excuses, as the rules are in the sticky thread. Just on top of the forum. It's hard to miss them.

I hate to OT, but...
I bet these rules apply to content from external sources, on SSC you just press the "quote" button...

we are at the very bottom of copyright violation graphs.

asking for permission is - I would say - too much in time of globalization, but definately he should have published the source or make a special comment...

I took it of though. So, sorry for this. And sorry for forgetting the quote thing

Anyhow, what means stealing? It's available to everyone anyway. Just reposted it under a different thread in the same forum. There is no copyright and it doesn't matter if you put a copyright sign underneath it since I doubt that this is a registered copyright (illegial use of copyright sign?). If it registered, so please accept my apalogies. But please do NOT accuse me of stealing something because I did not. I just wanted to share something great.

But enough of this disscussion and back to the real topic: Highway and road construction in Poland

They are probably aiming to open it all the way from Toruń to "węzeł Pikutkowo", which is possible till the end of year.

This is great news I look forward to possibly seeing it open at the end of 2013. Although "węzeł Pikutkowo" is due to be renamed "Włocławek Północ" because Włocławek is the main town which this exit serves

Motorways in Poland technically would allow driving at around 180-220km/h, but it's people like the autor of this film that make it extremelly dangerous. He is on a mission, and no obstacles will stop him. Overtaking on the right? No problem, ya gieroy.

Are these signs the new standard on which road administration is working on? Or just some guy fantasy?

They are based on a complete project of new signage created by SSC users. The project was sent to the ministry, but of course the answer was "no, because no".
Instead, the ministry is working on its own project of new signage, which is (of course) worse than ours.

No idea. I managed to get my hands on it after battling them in court, the whole new (proposed) regulation:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3bvxvd9omp...%20redbook.zip

Some parts of it are okay, others are just useless. GDDKiA asked many experts and companies from the industry for opinions and then ignored all of them.

At least it contains the exit symbol.

Yep, but it will be misused

"Interchange symbol" 3km before any interchange/exit, then "exit" symbols where the carriageway splits.

You were battling with them over whole proposed regulations? Where is the chance to see your proposal?

No, I was battling them to publish it. GDDKiA is known for having their own take on the issue of freedom of information.

That is common in Poland to not consult or to ignore public opinion on any topic.

GDDKiA is much more transparent about tenders than the Dutch Rijkswaterstaat. They never publish tender results over here. We just have to assume they contracted the cheapest or best offer.
