Are there any plans for an improved connection between the A1 and DK81 near Zory?

they have recently built road 935 which is not bad, I drove there a year ago. It is not very fast especially due to few roundabouts (some of them are turbo) but I remember traffic running fluently there.
Also traveling northbound I missed that road because of lack of good direction signs. They should really do something about it.

Lazienkowski Bridge had already suffered from an "almost identical" fire occurrence in 1975 - only one year after its opening:

News (in English): http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/n...-warsaw-bridge

Now:

And as expected afterward its closure, the traffic situation in Warsaw is quite chaotic:

That's very pity, because they were repairing and refitting it when the fire came. Now, they have to restart from the beginning .

Part of the problem is that DW935 and DK81 cross each other without intersecting, which makes adequate signage more challenging. I used to frequently connect at Zory between A1 to the north and DK81 to the south. I would get lost in Zory nearly every time, so I resorted to making a petrol stop in Zory so that I could study the map and GPS while fueling.

actually, the largest problem with direction signalization in that area is that all they know to sign is Katowice, Łódź and local destinations. Wrocław and Kraków - no way.
i was traveling there without navigation, direction Wrocław. the first sign for A4 and Wrocław was in urban area of Katowice (and that after few bluffing turns).
there is one sign for Opole and Gliwice heading to DK44 indeed, but i missed that one because i was endlesly hoping for A4 indications.
going back there is also lack of direction signs to Cieszyn at A4 and A1, they sign only Gorzyczki

Because A1 was built to relieve Cieszyn border crossing from the traffic going to CZ, A and further south

We can't signpost every possible direction, it wouldn't fit on the signage. There are already 5 directions on this sign: https://maps.google.pl/maps?ll=50.04...24.73,,1,-6.71
If you were going to Wrocław via A1 and A4, then you should have looked for signage directing to A1.

Cieszyn remains a better choice than Gorzyczki for SK and HU.

At the end of the week at the earliest we should know the cause of the fire regarding Łazienkowski Bridge. Here are some pictures from the State Fire Service:

This looks bad. Especially the metal structures under the Bridge which are probably just for support of all he pipes and stuff.
But I wouldn't be surprised if they have to replace at least a section of the Bridge if that is even possible..

CZ and A yes, but as mccarling said - what about SK and H?

about direction signs - i know for that sign, but whole area really lacks of Wrocław and Kraków signs. i was traveling there without GPS, only had little bit outdated auto atlas, which has been showing A1 u/c. as i didn't want to take a look in atlas each while, i expected to take A4 as indicator because i knew that i had to reach it somehow. do you know where i met the first useful sign for it? here. deep, in Katowice centrum
the whole Kościuszki Avenue as one of the main southern entrances to Silesian metropolis had 0 (zero) signs for A4, 0 signs for Wrocław and one sign for Kraków.

To me it doesn't make much sense to compare Januaries of different years. One year there is mild winter, another year plenty of snow, yet another year icy conditions. The comparison of entire years is much more usefull. Maybe a comparison of Junes, Julies or Augusts would be better, because summer weather is more repeating than the winter one.

What is the latest on the Łazienkowski Bridge? Will they have to replace it?
